Water Paradise

Time of year varies for each of these fisheries as does location, and there is a lot of water to cover, so the best way to ensure a successful outing is to book with a guide or charter service. A web search for Port St. Joe FL fishing guides will be very helpful. One of our favorites is Capt. Kevin of Port. St. Joe Charters. With the knowledge from a lifetime of fishing the Gulf County waters and the skill of a professional, he’ll find the fish you’re after if anyone can.

If you bring your own boat, remember that there is no parking for boat trailers or any trailers at Barefoot Cottages (simply not enough parking spaces), so be sure to arrange for offsite storage before you arrive. A good start would be to call Best American Storage at (352) 508-4451. It’s conveniently about a mile and a quarter away, roughly half way between Barefoot Cottages and the city boat ramps. If there are no spaces available there, they would be a good resource for other storage options.
